About
Dr. Edgar Fidel Nderego is an accomplished educator, curriculum specialist, researcher and academic leader with nine years of undergraduate teaching and one year of postgraduate teaching, research and research supervision. He holds a Ph.D. in Education from Gujarat University, India (2023), specialising in Teacher Education and Curriculum Studies, an M.Ed. in Science Education from the University of Dar es Salaam (GPA 4.8), and a B.Ed. in Physical Education, Sport and Culture from the University of Dar es Salaam (GPA 4.0 honours). He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction at The Open University of Tanzania (from July 2023), and has previously served as Assistant Lecturer at OUT (2016–2023) and Part-Time Lecturer at St. Augustine University, Mwanza (2017–2019). He has contributed to UNESCO's 2023 Curriculum Resource Pack for training educators and teachers on curriculum, and has published in international journals including the International Journal of Education & Management Studies, the International Journal of Humanities & Social Studies, and the Journal of Research Innovation and Implications in Education. He is currently supervising eleven Master's candidates. His teaching covers Curriculum Development and Evaluation, Teacher Professionalism and Classroom Practice, Measurement and Evaluation, and Educational Media and Technology at diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
